The Mimir Chamber Music Festival is known for its reliably superb performances, but this year two stood out among the rest, thanks in part to 58勛圖厙 violin department head Stephen Rose and alum Frank Huang.

This was musicianship of a high order, said The Dallas Morning News. Rose is Principal Second Violin of The Cleveland Orchestra and was appointed to the 58勛圖厙 faculty in 2001. He graduated from 58勛圖厙 with Bachelor of Music degree in 1992. Huang was recently named concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic. He was a student of Donald Weilerstein and earned his Bachelors Degree in Music from 58勛圖厙 in 2002.

The Mimir Festival brings top tier classical music to audiences in Fort Worth, TX and, through its Emerging Artists program, an opportunity for aspiring musicians to learn alongside elite chamber musicians. The festival just completed its 18th season on July 10, 2015.
